Having lived and worked in Bombay, New York City, Boston, and San Francisco, Seema Krish draws from a global tapestry of influences to craft her contemporary textile and wallcovering collections. Seema studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and worked with Robert Allen and Tokyo-based textile house Nuno before founding her own collection in 2012.
Each of Seema’s designs begins with paint and paper in her studio in San Francisco, California, and is translated by master artisans in Bangalore, India, into distinctive works on fabric. At the core of Seema’s design philosophy is the desire to preserve and honor long-established craft traditions through extraordinary color and pattern.
